Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff has started to re-run her A Padawan's Journal blog series as kind of a lead up to the publication of her novel with Michael Reaves, Holostar (working title). We won't necessarily re-link to each re-run blog entry, but Maya does promise to include periodic publication updates. When we notice those, we'll make sure you're aware as well. Her first update, included with the re-run of A Padawan's Journal Entry #1, states the following:


"Yes, this is a rerun rerun. In fact, I’m rerunning the entire Padawan’s Journal series because—TA-DA—we are prepping to turn the novel currently known as Holostar in to our beloved publisher and so, this is a sort of countdown to publication. I hope to break up the series though, with progress reports on what’s happening with the book so you can get a sense of the publishing process.

Here’s the first progress report: Michael is working his magic on the book and we are scheduled to turn it in to Del Rey in a few weeks."


Entry #2 is back online as well and we'll be sure to keep you up to date with more Holostar progress as we hear it. As of now, the tentatively titled Holostar is eyeing a March 2011 release.
