Apocalypse Contains Mercy Kill Preview

EU fans will get a look at Aaron Allston's upcoming novel X-Wing: Mercy Kill at the back of Troy Denning's Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse, a Del Rey editor confirmed tonight.

We reported last July that Apocalypse, the last novel in the Fate of the Jedi series, would have an "extensive excerpt of book one of [the] next Star Wars series." That plan has most likely changed, as it's doubtful that Allston's Mercy Kill is the first in a series of new X-Wing novels.
