In more EU-related news from the Star Wars Books Facebook page today, Del Rey's Erich Schoeneweiss introduces us to the latest Suvudu submission from Tricia Barr...

"Tricia Barr has posted a fascinating look inside a long standing EU character that rarely receives the star treatment, Tyria Sarkin Tainer. This pilot/Ranger turned Jedi has made numerous appearances in the EU novels and is a testament to strong female characters. Tricia and author Aaron Allston discuss the character, how he incorporates her into his novels, and Aaron reveals some behind the scenes notes about the character you won't find in the books. If that's not enough for you, the post includes a painting of Tyria and Jaina Solo fighting off the Mando intrusion seen in BACKLASH painted by BOBA FETT IS DEAD artist Chris Scalf.
