An article at MLive.com informs us of a Cosmic Costume Carnival coming to the Midland Center for the Arts in Michigan this coming Saturday. Here's the description from the Midland Center's website:

"Enjoy snacks and family-friendly activities, including face painting, make-your-own �star finders� and seeing how military dog tags are made. Meet some of your favorite Star Wars characters when the 501st Legion�s Great Lakes Garrison, and the Rebel Legion�s Great Lakes Base costuming groups make a special appearance. Costumes encouraged � You�ll be entered to win a prize! (no purchase necessary)
