SW.com continues there members-only Post-Notes feature with a new one entitled Whither the Tri-Droid?. Here's some of the highlights!

The Space Battle Tri-Droids segment was cut from the start of the film.

There is a missle sequence.

The visual effects now total 2,100.

There is a scene where Jedi in the elevator shaft are threatened by the lift coming down to crush them. The camera looks directly up at the lift.

In reality the sequence was just too long, and there's been lots of tweaking in editorial to pick up the pace.
