Official word from the Big Apple indicates that the New York Charity Screening of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will be held at none other than New York City's Historic Ziegfeld Theater to benefit The Children's Health Fund.

Here is what Gabrielle Schang, Vice President of External Affairs had to say about the big event:

Our red carpet premiere is on the evening of May 12th at the Ziegfeld Theater (home of the NYC "line" ) and our after party is at a cool place within walking distance. (TBD very soon)

CHF was co-founded by singer/songwriter Paul Simon and pediatrician/advocate Dr Irwin Redlener in 1987 to ensure that homeless children have access to the finest quality healthcare.

Tickets to the premiere and VIP after-party will be available by invitation and via online sales (website for online ticket sales to be announced in the coming weeks.) 100% of all ticket proceeds will benefit The Children’s Health Fund.
