On May 21, 2005, the GSPO will perform a concert of John Williams music from the Star Wars Saga, including World Premiere Concert Performance of "Battle of the Heroes" from "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith". We invite all to come follow the paths of Anakin and Luke Skywalker and the other memorable characters from the timeless saga we all love.
To help promote and celebrate Star Wars soon after the premiere of Episode III, we scheduled the GSPO Symphony Orchestra to perform in concert on May 21, 2005.
This is the only concert of its kind; it's unique because we will play favorite music from all six films, and yes, we will play "Battle of the Heroes" from Episode III. And we've got some great Star-Wars-related surprises during the evening.
GSPO will offer die-hard Star Wars fans 2 free tickets to see Star Wars in Concert.
The very first person who responds for each character, and is willing to dress in full garb, and act the part (like a "Disney" character) before and after the show, will get 2 free tickets and a free drink. They MUST be there by 6pm and MUST stay for 30 minutes after the show is complete. Their contact person when at the theatre is Mr. Clayton Spires. After each main character is full (meaning we are only accepting one of each character) anyone dressed in costume will get in at half off the $20 General Admission price (meaning the ticket is only $10). No discount on $10 student/children/military tickets.
We welcome all Star Wars fans to come in their favorite costume: Darth Vader, a Jedi Knight, a Sith Lord, a stormtrooper, a bounty hunter, a rebel, anything! If anyone can fit into an R2-D2 module, bring 'em!
IMPORTANT: Please RSVP by email at tickets@gspo.com to get your free tickets. Give them your name and the name of the person you are coming with. This event is history in the making, and you can be part of it!
UPDATE
If you are replying to the "come in costume" ad in theforce.net you will have to work the show before and after the concert, like a "Disney" character. What character do you plan on dressing as. It must be in FULL costume. In other words you cannot dress as Darth Vader and only have a cape and helmet, you must have the full garb. You will need to be there by 6pm at the latest and must stay for 30 minutes after the show.
