The Official Site throws us a small returning actor tidbit this morning. Temuera Morrison is back!
Temuera Morrison is already familiar to Star Wars fans for his role as bounty hunter Jango Fett in Episode III.
We're figuring a typo in the above was supposed to mean we're familiar with him from Episode II and the announcement is that he'll actually be returning in Episode III (though not as Jango). The guys are probably laughing their heads off with this typo.
Anyhow, what we are sure of is that he is back for Episode III. What role you say? How about some speculation on our part (spoilers!):
We know that this is for more than just his voice work of clones - so how does he fit in all of this?
The clones are getting older since their growth is accelerated as established in Attack of the Clones, possibly making them roughly the age of the original Jango Fett in Episode II. Certainly there are batches of clones already at that earlier stage of development.
So, we think he's certain to be involved in killing off a lot of Jedi as the Emperor continues his rise to power. We believe that quite possibly he'll be having a very visible part in the war against the Jedi in Episode III.
