Ganjuko

native to a number of planets in the Filve Sector, this huge beast is similar in many respects to the bantha. Both are large beasts, with the average ganjuko standing more than three meters tall at the shoulder and measuring five meters in length. The body of the ganjuko is covered with a thick pelt of fur. However, where the bantha is known as an easily-domesticated beast of burden, the ganjuko is an easily-angered predator capable of killing any other creature it encounters. Their relatively small heads are nearly bald, and rangin in color from red to orange. Their mouths are formed by a sharp beak, which they use to attack their prey. The beaks were also collected and sold on the black market. Their fur, coupled with layers of fat beneath the skin, provide excellent heat-retention in cold climates, making the ganjuko a sluggish and weak creature in areas where the temperature rises above the freezing point. They are long-lived creatures, reaching the age of 110 standard years, but produce just four to eight offspring during this time. They were hunted as trophies, but more often than not the "trophies" were taken by the ganjuko themselves.
