this planet saw battle during the Clone Wars. The natives who fought back against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems wore a skirt woven of strong material, which served as both protection and identification. The use of these skirts was later adopted by the ARC Troopers and clone commanders of the Grand Army of the Republic, after Republic military officers came to understand its protective capabilities.
