this alien was was known for its military prowess, which was evident across the galaxy during the years leading up to the Great Sith War. The Echani were noted as skilled warriors, and many of their techniques became the basis for the Echani style of martial arts. The Echani were distinguished by their use of armor and weaponry that incorporated cortosis ore, allowing them to be effective combatants against the Sith as well as the Jedi Knights.
