Their only foray into another line of business came during the Galactic Civil War, when they reverse-engineered their own products to create anti-detection and evasion packages, such as electromagnetic countermeasures. They took advantage of the general fear of the Empire and sold these new systems to the huge market made up of smugglers, mercenaries, and the Alliance.
