this was the designation of CoMar's planetary shield generator. This immense shield generator was designed to protect a large area of a planet's surface, but could also be configured to protect an orbiting moon or space station. The Empire used the SLD-26 to protect the second Death Star, during its construction in orbit around the Forest Moon of Endor.
