Stiff competition in Japan from Pocket Monsters Revelation Lugia and My Neighbors the Yamadas knocked TPM down 56% grossing only $5.4 million for a $26.4 million total.

Adding up the totals for the current 24 international markets TPM earned $26.7 million over the weekend, pushing the total to $116.4 million.
