McDonald's Gets In On The TPM 3D Action

Our friend Derek of the Austin Fan Force sent over the following:

"Hey guys, this just hit the McDonald's Happy Meal website today. Thought you'd like to know.

It appears to be some sort of disc shooter/launcher, you put the disc on top and press a button.

R2D2, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Mace, Yoda, Maul, Sebulba, Anakin.

I think these will arrive on February 17th, a week after the movie opens."

If you look around the Happy Meal site, there's also an "Ask Yoda" section. Another TFN reader named Ron prognosticates that this might mean that the McDonald's promo will not end up in the U.S. We'll see soon enough! The Phantom Menace comes to theaters in 3D on February 10, 2012.

UPDATE: We have a little update on the Ask Yoda area of the McDonald's Happy Meal page. If your younglings would like to pose a question to the pint-sized Jedi Master, they can do so now for an interview that will be posted on the TPM 3D release day of February 10th.
