Our friend Bidget wrote to let us know that Family Guy: Blue Harvest and Robot Chicken: Star Wars each received EMMY nominations todaty.

Outstanding Animated Program (for programming less than one hour) - Robot Chicken: Star Wars

Outstanding Animated Program (for programming one hour or more) - Family Guy: Blue Harvest

UPDATE: We should mention that Carrie Fisher also received an EMMY nomination for her guest appearance on 30 Rock last season. (Best Guest Actress In A Comedy Series)

UPDATE #2: It's just an honor to be nominated right? It seems that Robot Chicken Star Wars, Family Guy: Blue Harvest and Carrie Fisher all lost in their quest for an EMMY. Robot Chicken lost out to The Simpsons while Blue Harvest lost to South Park.
