Star Wars is Everywhere returns with quite the variety of items today...
George Lucas, along with James Cameron and Jeffrey Katzenberg, was on hand at last week's CinemaCon in Los Vegas, where the Hollywood heavyweights promoted future theater attendance along with the profitability of 3-D films. Their theme certainly makes sense considering they were speaking to a room of theater owners.

On going to the movies... "What you bring to the table is a great venue," Lucas told an enthusiastic group of theater owners Wednesday in Las Vegas. "Movie theaters represent a social art form you can't get on an iPhone and you can't get on the TV.... Man is a social animal — we want to enjoy things together. And that's what a theater is."
On the 3-D revolution... "I totally believe that 3-D will eventually take over, just like color did," Lucas said.

“You cannot admit that when you first pick up a lightsaber, that you don’t feel like a 12-year old kid,” said Jeremy Elkins, a student at Harper College and founder of Windy City Jedi, a 10-member group of Star Wars enthusiasts who gather weekly to clash sabers.
The Windy City Jedi comprise the Chicago chapter of SaberWars, a growing international conglomeration designed to let their members’ passion for Star Wars come to life in a very real way. Their goal is to create their own characters within the Star Wars universe and tell their story through the drama of a lightsaber fight. Only three years ago, SaberWars was virtually unknown, starting out as the brainchild of a handful of fans."
Jeremy Bulloch (OT Boba Fett), the Rebel Legion, Mandolorian Mercs and R2 builders brought a healthy Star Wars presence to Kansas City's Planet Comicon over the March 25 and 26 weekend. Read about the fun over at KansasCity.com.
The Scarborogh Evening News reports on a couple troopers who did a little patroling for an event in the UK that promoted the launch of LEGO SWIII: TCW for the new Nintendo 3DS gaming system and also raised some money for Children’s Hospices UK.
