SW: The Old Republic Launch Events

The North American and European release of Star Wars: The Old Republic is now officially just hours away. We've already posted on midnight release parties at Hastings but the SWTOR Facebook page makes sure we're aware of a couple other big events.

First off is an event with the BioWare co-founders at the Union Square Best Buy in New York:

"On December 20th, your personal saga will begin as Star Wars: The Old Republic hits retail shelves. Joining fans in New York to celebrate this moment, BioWare co-founders Dr Ray Muzyka and Dr Greg Zeschuk will be appearing at Best Buy Union Square to talk with fans and sign autographs! Every attendee receives a free limited edition commemorative Star Wars: The Old Republic Launch Event Lithograph and will have a chance to win copies of the game, t-shirts, hats, books, and more! Quantities are limited, so be sure to arrive early to secure your copy."
