WILSONVILLE, Ore., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Is the force with you? On September 15, in a galaxy not so far away, national video game retailer, Game Crazy, is celebrating the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed with Midnight launch costume parties (8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.). At Game Crazy stores nationwide, Jedi Knights, Storm Troopers, Bounty Hunters and other party attendees are invited to be among the first to play and purchase the new game when the clock strikes midnight. The customer who dons the best Star Wars-inspired costume in each store, as decided by party attendees, will win one of 750 limited edition Force Unleashed action figures and the privilege of
playing the game first, before it even goes on sale.

"As LucasArts embarks on an epic, new adventure with the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, eager fans can get into the spirit at their local Game Crazy store," said Wes Sand, senior vice president at Game Crazy. "Game Crazy has been granted special permission to demonstrate the game before it goes on sale, and as a bonus, customers with the best costumes in each store get to play the game at 10:00 p.m. Then, at midnight, customers can visit the dark side and be among the first to own the game."

More on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The Star Wars saga continues in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by the talented team at LucasArts. The game, which casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice," and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy, will be available on all game systems including XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3 and PSP. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force by taking full advantage of newly developed technologies that will be
