Del Rey Shows SW: The Essential Characters Rough Cover

Del Rey's Star Wars Books Facebook page has offered us a look at their New York Comic-Con booth, and one of the things on display there is a mock-up of the next reference book about the characters of the Star Wars universe. The book, which is being written by Dan Wallace, will be titled Star Wars: The Essential Characters, a truncated variant of the previous two titles in the series, The Essential Guide to Characters and The New Essential Guide to Characters. You can see the Doug Wheatley cover art, which Del Rey's Erich Schoeneweiss stresses is "very rough and not final," in this close-up:
