CV is quickly approaching and we at TFN have been hard at work preparing for our CV party. We have some updates and additional information now available:

Celebrity Guests
We have the following Star Wars celebs confirmed for the party:
Dave Filoni: Director of the Clone Wars
Meagan Finnerty Executive Assistant to Supervising Director Dave Filoni
Chris Muncke from A New Hope who is also signing for Official Pix during con hours
Kyle Newman the director of Fanboys
Sarah Wilkinson one of the featured artists in Artist's Alley

Right now we have a few celeb guests who have indicated they would like to attend, but they want us to hold off announcing them until they can say for sure they will attend. We hope to get their official confirmations soon.

Note: Many of the celebrity guests at CV are under contract in regards to autographs. Please be respectful of this if a guest declined to sign or take extensive pictures at the party. Feel free to approach them and chat. We just want our celeb guests to be able to relax and enjoy the party as much as our non-celeb guests.

Entertainment
As we announced before, caricature artist Darryl Woods will be drawing at our event! All party attendants will be entered in a free raffle to win a customized drawing created while they wait. We are offering this service as a raffle to cut down on lines at the event and to give all attendants an equal opportunity to take home a beautiful customized piece. Mr. Woods has also graciously donated some special, unique drawings to be raffled at the event. These will be one of a kind items created specifically for our event. Pictures of these drawings should be available very soon.

A Star Wars "Fan Band," Sex Wing Starfighter, will be performing live at the event. They are a pro-Rebellion punk bank from Tatooine with a very unique take on Star Wars. They will be performing sporatically throughout the evening. Drop by their site and give them a listen!

Also at the event, we will have Kristin Sirota (Benae Quee as some on TFN know her) of Hooplyn Hoops preforming and most likely teaching hooping.

The party planning crew have a few more activities and entertainment in the works. We hope to be able to announce those soon.

Ticket Sales
Ticket sales have blasted up! We actually had to increase our maximum number of guests with the Wyndham. We are thrilled to see such a response! Remember the pre-registration deadline of August 6th is quickly approaching. After August 6th ticket prices increase to $35 for adults, $30 for kids and will only be available at the door.

There are still two pre-ordering options available: PayPal and Snail-Mail. Send Paypal payments to party organizer Dajuan Kinney at JediDajuan@gmail.com along with the names of the attendants. The window for the Snail-Mail option is quickly closing. The money order must be received before Dajuan leave for Orlando on August 8th. Email her for the Snail-Mail address.

If you know you are attending but want to wait to purchase your ticket at the door, please drop Dajuan an email to indicate this. This is not mandatory, but by doing so you help give the organizers a more accurate headcount which will make ordering party food much easier. We are also accepting donations to help fund celebrity guests and other events at the party. Raffle tickets and other prizes are available for donations. Pre-Check In at the FF/JC Table
On Thursday, August 12th, party pre-check in will be available at the FanForce/Jedi Council Forums table in Fan Hall. If you have pre-purchased a ticket to the event, bring your ticketing information to the FF/JC table and collect your party bracelet. This will allow you to avoid a line to get into the party. Just flash your bracelet at the door and walk right in. Check in will also be available at the door.

Note that each individual must personally collect his/her bracelet. One person cannot collect all of the bracelets for a group of people, sorry. We are not responsible for lost or stolen bracelets. If you lose it, you will have to purchase a second ticket into the event at the door.

Also, the FF/JC table will have the latest information on celebrity guests who are attending and last minute changes, so stop by the table periodically during the convention.
