SW Night With The Aberdeen Ironbirds Posted By Mike on June 27, 2012
Another minor league baseball team in Maryland has a Star Wars Night on the way, and this time it will be hosted by the Aberdeen Ironbrids as they take on Auburn Doubledays at Ripken Stadium on July 12th. There isn't much of a description for the event on the Ironbirds website yet but one can assume there will be lots of Star Wars characters, Star Wars-themed fun between innings, a lightsaber battle or two and more. And yes, fireworks will cap off the evening! These games are fantastic for the younglings and Ripken Stadium is a great place to watch a game. My son and I were at the Bowie Baysox SW Night last Saturday (my report on that game will follow sooner than later) and we'll definitely be going to this one as well.
