Jedi and Sith united for a good cause
The main goal of the premiere is to raise funds for the Foundation for research into children's disease.
(Montreal, Qc) - For the last time in history, fans of the epic Star Wars saga will get together on May 18th to wait for the release, a minute past midnight, of the movie that will bridge the saga together.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, coming out in theatres on May 19th 2001 will be an event fans will remember for a long time. But for a few hundreds of them, May 18th will mark a special Celebration of their passion as the fans of the SithClan.net website take time to celebrate their passion for the Star Wars Saga.
"Star Wars Fans around the world are constantly helping each other out, the premiere of Star Wars Episode III is one of these moments where we get together in order to help out a good cause" mention Sébastien Mineau organizer of the event. "Our main goal is to raise funds for the foundation for research into children disease" he adds. This event marks the coming together of fans from all over the province, even as far as Gaspé. Three months in the planning, this event promises to be memorable.
Schedule of the event:
The pre-showing party will occur on May 18th at pool-bar Unison, followed by the screening of the movie at Guzzo's Spheretech 14 (3500 Blvd Cote-Vertu west).
The night will begin at 17:00 hours with the arrival of the fans on site, around 19:00 hours a Star Wars Miniatures tournament will be held, followed by a Trivial Pursuit tournament at 20:00 hours and then a costume contest at 21:00 hours.
Fans will be moved from the restaurant to the theatre around 22:30 hours and the movie will begin a minute past midnight on May 19th 2005.
