StarWars.com reported that the Lucasfilm/AtomFilms fan films contest is now accepting submissions:

Creative filmmakers have been blowing viewers away with their parodies, experimental works, and movies about the Star Wars fan experience since the competition first began in 2002. The 2006 competition is expected to bring more of the same great entertainment, as filmmakers compete for cash prizes, exclusive Fan Film Awards trophies, and recognition by Star Wars writer/director George Lucas himself, who selects the top prize.

Remember, only Star Wars-themed parodies and documentaries are accepted for this contest. Anything else, including non-Star Wars fan films, should be submitted to us at TFN.
