On Location: Part 9
In The Money

This On Location intro did not have the bar/ restaurant in the background like all the other clips, unless it was just shot in a different section of the set like the second On Location clip (see second photo). We haven’t seen this actress before and presumably she is an extra like the others but I cannot confirm this.

This 1 minute and 40 second clip was all about the accounting office at Fox Studios, Australia and how they kept track of all the money and expenses for the Episode II production.

Ahmed: One of the most important things with any movie is the cash, the dinero, or in Sydney, Australia these rainbow colors.

Ahmed: The main man with the money is Kevin who is the production accountant of production.

(What is that?)

Kevin: We try to make sure they stay on budget and keep the budget balanced.
Ahmed: Have we gone over budget yet?
Kevin: Ummm… No not yet, two weeks left to shoot.

(This comment is very interesting. This On Location clip was shot near the end of the Fox Studios filming.)

Ahmed: Do you think we’ll go over budget?
Kevin: No because it’s George’s money

Ahmed: How much does George make in a year?
Kevin: Are we talking U.S. dollars?
Ahmed: Yes
Kevin: Well…

Ahmed: Ahhhh! You can’t know that! No one can know that! That’s for us to know and you to find out.

Ahmed: Kevin , how much do you make?
Kevin: Not enough

Ahmed: This is where all the money goes through for Episode 2, everyone in the accounting office wave for the web.

(Ain’t that the truth! You notice how Lucas has to get the plug in for the Trilogy rerelease. Show me the $$$$$)
