On Location: Part 6
A Beautiful Girl
Summary by: Don Keefe
(Please note that the following comments are my opinions and speculations regarding the production of Episode II and do not necessarily reflect those of TheForce.net)
This On Location clip was introduced by another actress I didn?t recognize. She does have an interesting kind of reverse Mohawk look going on. It is the same bar/restaurant though from the other clips judging from the neon in the background. As I have mentioned earlier this place must be a main feature in the upcoming film. It has been featured in all of the On Location clips except for one.
This clip takes place again at Fox Studios outside one of the stages. There are a number of small children and adults standing around. I believe they are in the process of being cast as extras. The children are of all nationalities and it looks like they range in age from 1 ? 10.
During this 1 minute 50 sec clip Ahmed interviews Georgia. She?s four and she says she has been acting for six months. Ahmed replies that you heard it here first on the web she?s been acting since she was negative 2.
Ahmed asks her ?Who is your favorite Star Wars character?? She replies ?the sister?.Ahmed gives a sly look to the camera and says, ?I wonder who the sister is?? Is she talking about Amidala?s sister or is this just the rambling of a four year old? It was mentioned already on TFN that Amidala?s family was rumored to be played by Graeme Blundell, Trisha Noble, Claudia Karvan, Keira Wingate and Hayley Mooy.
Ahmed: Do you like Jar Jar?.
Georgia: Yes, he?s the best.
Ahmed: Do you think he?s the funniest character in Star Wars?
Georgia: Yes
Ahmed: Is the actor that plays Jar Jar an incredible comic genius?
Georgia: Yes
Ahmed: You heard it here first!
Ahmed then goes on to do some cutesy Jar Jar voice, and that?s when I really lost interest in this clip. I started to have Ep1 Jar Jar flashbacks that were not pleasant.
They wave goodbye.
I must admit the little girl was cute, but I think there?s a cuteness limit that we all reach. Believe me by the end of this clip my limit had been reached.
