Australia Post has produced two in a series of three Star Wars Souvenir Stamp packs.
The first issue was released at Celebration II and is a 25th Anniversary limited edition (5,000) souvenir stamp pack:
- A4 sheet of 10 stamps each with a tab that features a different Star Wars character;
- 10 postcards that feature a different Star Wars character, available only with the stamp pack, packaged in a custom folder;
- each stamp sheet is individually numbered (1/5000, 2/5000, etc.)
The
second issue was released in May 2002 and is an Episode II souvenir stamp pack which is sold by
Australia Post.
- The Souvenir Stamp Sheet comprises of 10 x 45c Australia and Globe stamps.
- The collectible stamp sheet features Episode II characters: Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, C-3PO, R2-D2, Count Dooku, Zam Wesell, Jango Fett, Clone Trooper, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
- The stamps are surrounded by a striking selvage featuring characters from Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
The
third issue, a limited edition (10,000) Classic properties issue, will be released to coincide with the Episode II DVD/Video release in late 2002.
