I enjoy finding obscure or rarely used ideas that already exist in the Star Wars Universe. Biscuit Baron, The Sunfighter Franchise, Neks...I pulled this visual out of the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. The Banshee makes its way to the central city on the planet Panna. The planet was first (and only, as far as I know) seen in the Boba Fett cartoon that Chewie's son watches on his view screen. This is my favorite so far. I really love how the engine exhaust turned out, as well as the cloud shadows on the city and all of the colors. I was asked where I get my cool looking planets from, and I have to admit that I kinda cheat when it comes to those. I discovered a filter for Photoshop that allows you to make these wonderfully rendered planets. It's called Lunar Cell and is available for about twenty bucks from FlamingPear.com. They have several other cool filters as well. Check it out.
