View Poll Archives 30th Anniversary Postage Posted By Dustin on March 7, 2007 We've gotten word that the USPS will be announcing official U.S. postage paying tribute to the 30th anniversary of Star Wars later this month. The following information comes from an anonymous insider. March 16: R2-D2 will make news in many major cities across the U.S. March 28: Star War stamp designs we be unveiled in Los Angeles. May 25: Stamps will go on sale after the first day of issue ceremony. Fans will play a role in the production of one of the stamp designs. Remember nothing is official until it is posted on the official Star Wars website, Starwars.com. In the meantime, stay tuned to TheForce.net for further updates as our rebel spies report in!
