Star Wars CCG Online 2007 Season

The first official WWL Star Wars CCG season will begin March 1st between 2-3.00am EST (GMT-5), when the current monthly ladder will end. A "season" will consist of the "monthly ladder" not being reset for a period of six (6) months. However, there is more to seasonal play than just a six-month ladder.

Squadron competition will also play an important role over the course of a season through "Squadron Wars". These wars consist of two Squadrons matching against each other for a period of 30-days for rank.

At the end of the season in September, the Season Playoffs will commence to determine the 2007 Squadron and WWL Star Wars CCG World Champions. These will be seeded competitions and more information concerning them will be made available as the season progresses. It is planned to award Seasonal Champions with a physical "glass" trophy--a Star Wars CCG tradition--purchased through the SWCCG Players Committee's web store.

Over the course of the season, players and Squadrons will have the oppurtunity to receive many different kinds of exclusive awards and medals for their attendance, gameplay success, and more! At the end of the season, special achievement awards will be handed out for those players who perform well against the whole spectrun of the WWL membership.
