Posted By Mike on June 30, 2008 Friend of TFN, "Probe Droid", wrote in with the following cool news: "Talked with Steve Sansweet at NY Comic-Con last Saturday, who told me that Del Rey is doing a big SW encyclopedia this fall. I messaged my contact there who told me: “Yes, we are doing a Star Wars encyclopedia this fall. It will be two hardcovers in a slipcase with full-color artwork. It will retail at $75. It will be an A to Z listing, covering the entire universe. The original encyclopedia was published 10 years ago…so there will be a ton of updating.”' "Probe Droid" was also nice enough to send in a few pics from NYCC: Steve Sansweet with J.W. Rinzler's The Complete Making of Indiana Jones Steve Sansweet with Seth Green and Matt Senreich of Robot Chicken Steve Sansweet with members of the 501st Thanks "Probe Droid!" UPDATE #2: Our friend Andrew, who happens to be working on the new encyclopedia, wrote in to let us know that not all of the retailer info out there is up to date as price, sale date and page counts have yet to be determined. He also stated the following: "I can tell you that it will be a 3 volume set containing over 1000 pages of information covering the entire Star Wars timeline and featuring entries from all 6 feature films, comic entries from Marvel to Dark Horse and will also include entries from the forthcoming Clone Wars animated movie/television show."
