New Short Excerpt From Riptide

EUC points us to the blog of author Paul S. Kemp where he's posted a second excerpt from his work-in-progress follow-up to Crosscurrent. If you missed his first blurb, you can check it out by clicking here. Otherwise since it doesn't really seem spoilerific, you can see the latest excerpt below.

"They�d all felt it, even the children, as the cloakshape fighter carrying them had blazed through the white hot aftermath of the starship�s explosion. Between the surface of the frozen moon and the safety of outer space had hung a cloud of smoke, flaming debris, superheated gas, and�something more."

Look for Riptide, starring Jaden Korr, to land on bookshelves in July of 2011.
