Jedi Journal Books: Now On Sale! Posted By Jay on May 21, 2009
Available on bookshelves (both physical and virtual) this week are a duo of Clone Wars books, plus the latest Wizards of the Coast Guidebook.
First up is the 2nd book in The Clones Wars series, (or 3rd depending if you count Karen Traviss' film hardcover adaptation), No Prisoners. This trade paperback sized tome looks to be an exciting battle-themed book with Ahsoka and Rex teaming up with Heir to the Empire's Gilad Pellaeon and his crew to rescue a captured Republic agent. This title is written by Karen Traviss and retails for $15.
Speaking of Karen Traviss, this week also sees the release of her fourth Clone title, this time in paperback, Order 66. Order 66 features the cast from her previous books, including Sgt. Skirata and his Omega and Delta commandos, Jedi Knight Etain Tur-Mukan and Republic agent Besany Wennen as they navigate the tricky political landscapes of Coruscant while executing Palpatine's Order-66! The paperback will set you back $7.99.
Finally, the latest guidebook from Wizards of the Coast hits shelves, The Jedi Academy Training Manual by Rodney Thompson. Find the scoop on Luke's Jedi Praxeum, and all the characters, creatures and lightsaber moves you'll need to survive in the GFFA. This manual can be yours, for $34.95.
