Imperial Commando 2 Could Get Canceled

The second book in the Imperial Commando duology may not see the light of bookshelves and Amazon shopping carts, according to Lucas Licensing's Sue Rostoni.

From the StarWars.com forums:

The time between the two books is going to be years and we?re not sure enough people will still be interested in it to warrant the writing. We have something else in mind, though, something that I know many of you have been wanting for years. So hopefully you?ll be happy with the change. As soon as I can, I?ll give you more details.

The new long-awaited book sounds promising, so we'll see what develops with that.

A sequel to ex-Star Wars author Karen Traviss's Imperial Commando: 501st novel had been planned, then canceled after Traviss's departure, and then proposed again with a new author.
