Back in February at the New York Comic Con, it was revealed that Jason Fry (whose previous official gigs range from Coruscant and the Core Worlds to "Who's Who in Rogue Squadron") is writing an Atlas of the Star Wars Galaxy.

No details as yet (if you were at Comic Con, and know more, e-mail me at paul@theforce.net) but we're guessing that this is going to be the first detailed, official guide to the actual geography of the Star Wars Galaxy.

Coolness.

More news on this as we get it!

UPDATE!! From comments in the Galactic Cartography discussion thread on the TF.N message-boards, it seems that Jason Fry will be co-authoring this book with Dan Wallace, another Star Wars author, perhaps best-known to fans as the writer of The New Essential Chronology.
