This book follows the guides to ships and characters. It has detailed descriptions and pictures of items of technology in the Star Wars Universe. That includes shield generators, moisture vaporators, tractor beams, blasters, and comlinks.

    Man, these guys are thorough! This book even has Magwit's Mystifying hoop! Weird, eh? The drawings are beautiful and well done. This is a must- have for any fan of Star Wars technology.

    I wish it had listed where some of this stuff first appeared. Where'd that hoop come from? Plus, some color photos would have been nice. You know, the models and props. But that surely would have increased the price. It was already $18 which is reasonable.
