Jaime King & Meredith Salenger Interview

Posted By Mike on January 23, 2010

Actresses Jaime King & Meredith Salenger stepped outside of their normal TCW vocal duties in last night's episode of "Lightsaber Lost" (S2 Ep. 11), and SW.com's Bonnie Burton chats with the two women about their roles.

See the intro below and then click here for the full interview.

"If there's one thing a Jedi must learn, it's that your lightsaber is your life. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi taught this valuable lesson to Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones, and later to Luke Skywalker in A New Hope. So it was only a matter of time before Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano had to discover the same cautionary message the hard way.
In "Lightsaber Lost," Ahsoka's lightsaber goes missing thanks to a pickpocket who steals her lightsaber and eventually leads her to two mysterious female characters, voiced by Clone Wars actors we've heard from before. Meredith Salenger switches gears from playing Jedi Barriss Offee to explore the character of Ione Marcy, while Jaime King takes a break from voicing bounty hunter Aurra Sing to play another girl-gone-bad role as thief Cassie Cryar.

StarWars.com chats with Jaime and Meredith about their new characters and why playing female baddies is so much fun."
