"Just a reminder that Saturday, February 24th is "Fan Day" at the Los Angeles' California Science Center installation of "Where Science Meets Imagination".
Fans are encouraged to come in Star Wars costume, see the exhibit (where flash photography is allowed!), ride the Millennium Falcon simulator, check out the to-die-for exhibit gift shop, and enjoy some of the events scheduled throughout the day:
Costume Contests with Prizes - Group Photo - Droid Demo - Saber Demo and Combat - Road Squadron vehicles - and More!
501st and Rebel Legions, as well as Orange County and San Diego Star Wars Societies and the Los Angeles and Inland Empire Fan Forces will all be represented.
**Admission to the both the Science Center and the exhibit is free- the Millennium Falcon Simulator is $2. Due to estimated high attendance, it is recommended that visitors purchase IMAX show tickets (which provide a Priority Admission "fastpass" entry right after the film) to ensure entry into the exhibit. All others will be admitted on a first come, first served basis, subject to the exhibit's attendance capacity (admission cannot be guaranteed).**
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
