Spy Kids Director Takes Cue from Lucas

Dave Bug sends in the following news about Robert Rodriguez' latest nod to George Lucas:

Robert Rodriguez was interviewed on NPR about his upcoming movie Spy Kids 2. When asked how he got the pop-out colors to be so bright he said something to the effect of "When I was thinking about how to film the movie, I took a cue from George Lucas. He always seems to be leading the way, 10 or 20 years ahead of the rest of the pack. So I used high-definition digital cameras to film Spy Kids 2."
