Pink Five Kickstarter Campaign Posted By Dustin on September 2, 2012
Trey Stokes and Amy Earhart, creators of the celebrated Pink Five fanfilm series, have announced a Kickstarter project to fund the the long-awaited Final Chapter of the saga.
The original Pink Five won the George Lucas Selects award in Lucasfilm's Official Star Wars Fan Film awards - its sequel, Pink Five Strikes Back won the Audience Choice Award the following year. The series garnered millions of views on Atom.com and became such a phenomenon that the character of "Stacey" was featured on an official Star Wars trading card. Stacey even made the transition from fanon to canon when she made an appearance in Timothy Zahn's novel Allegiance.
If Stokes and Earhart successfully reach their funding goal on September 5th, they plan to release the Final Chapter on January 1, 2013. The previous episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Stacey headed for the Death Star during the Battle of Endor - so the Final Chapter is likely to be an explosive end to the beloved series.
UPDATE: The Pink 5 kickstarter project has reached their primary goal, but still have 4 days left. I've gotten word that if they reach $28,000 by the end of funding, they'll do a bonus episode! Plus there are still plenty of rewards available of course. Click here to help make it happen!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
