Jedi Training With Nick Gillard

This just in! If you're going to Comicpalooza in Houston Texas, and want to learn some sick Jedi moves then read on.....

"HOUSTON, TEXAS ? Here?s your chance to learn to use the force and be taught to be a Jedi by the master who guided Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson. Due to an overwhelming response additional classes for the Jedi Training seminar with veteran stunt coordinator Nick Gillard have been added for Friday, May 25 at 4pm and Saturday, May 26 at 11 am. These two additional classes are onsite registration only.

Preferring stunt work that is woven into the fabric of the film rather than paraded for the sake of spectacle, veteran stunt coordinator Nick Gillard guided actors Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson through training in his own fictional martial art in order to bring a special dimension to the stunts of Star Wars: Episode I. Performing his first stunt work in The Thief of Baghdad, Gillard has since appeared in countless "World's Greatest Stunts" videos as well as in blockbusters such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (boat and tank battles) and Interview with the Vampire (doubled for Tom Cruise). Gillard also portrayed the Alien Queen in Aliens, and his sword work has been displayed in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and in The Three Musketeers."
