Ryan vs. Dorkman 2 Theatrical Screenings

Back in July 2006, Ryan Wieber and myself announced that we were planning a sequel to our previous collaboration, "Ryan Wieber vs. Michael "Dorkman" Scott", better known as "Ryan vs. Dorkman."

The shoot was in late August 2006, and since then Ryan and I have been hard at work in post-production.

In December, we released a Sneak Peek into the production of RvD2, and also announced the internet release date of the lightsaber sequel: March 1, 2007.

Before that date, however, we will be premiering the film on the big screen in a couple of cities.

Los Angeles: On February 24th, at the Wilshire Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, we will be holding the world premiere of RvD2, screening the film in full HD resolution. The premiere event will also include screenings of several "classic" fan saber fights like Legacy of the Jedi and Duality, and newer ones like Versus and Contract of Evil. Several of the filmmakers will be in attendance to introduce their films and potentially answer a few questions after each screening.

Admission is free so if you're in the L.A. area, come along and bring your friends. The event runs from 4-6P.M.

New York City: RvD2 will have an East Coast premiere that same night (February 24th) at the main stage of the New York Comic Con. The screening time is a bit fluid, but it should be around 8PM.

There's a few other fun events at the NYCC that will interest Tri-State lightsaber enthusiasts, so stay tuned for more information on those.

London, England: We are in the process of trying to organize a UK screening of RvD2 and other films before, or shortly after, the online premiere. Keep an eye out for an update on this one.
