Game Text: May not play weapons under here. May not support. Emperor is power +3 for each Imperial supporting him. While Emperor is ready and another Imperial leader is here, the Emperor may not be attacked.
This version of Palptine takes a little thought when being used. The fact that he can't use weapons or support is a pretty big drawback. On the other hand Palptine is a beast to battle. As long as one of your leaders is present no one can touch him. This means that he can battle on his own terms...and the best time is always to battle with him early. The trick is to rotate him early so that the Light Side will HAVE to battle him. It's either that or they can try taking out Tarkin and/or one of his million Troopers (which you will only end up fishing from your Discard Pile anyway). Basically your opponent is left with the lesser of four evils...the fourth being they can just deploy like mad and hope to win the Control Check before taking too many casulties.
