1 if you read the interview with Pernilia August on theforce.net she states that Anakin's childhood is not to tragic and that the bad things start to happen when he's older.

2 I don't think George would make his childhood so sad.

also I do not believe that C3PO will be put together by R2-D2 because it says in the guide to the star wars universe he was activated 112 years before a new hope. I think that C3PO will work for the queen along with the silver droid being built in the picture on the official site. that is why in the empire strikes back C3PO runs into a silver protocol droid then has this conversation with him.
"Nice to see a familiar face around."
"EEchoota!!"
"How rude!!"
at least I'm pretty sure he says nice to see a familiar face around. But R2 and C3PO have worked together before probably. Then they were separated. Then the way Artoo gets to Naboo to be in one of the yellow fighters is when the good guys break into the hanger and fight the destroyer droids Artoo is with them and they need another droid for a fighter. they put Artoo in a fighter. Then in the second Episode Anakin gets married to the queen. Now Anakin owns the Artoo and the queen owns C3PO. Now later on C3PO is assigned to captain Antilles. later on when Anakin turns to the dark side and the queen has her babies luke and leia obi-wan comes and takes them away. Artoo comes too. kenobi brings luke to his brother owen then heads for Alderaan with Leia. he arrives and gives leia to bail organa and for some reason Artoo becomes property of bail too. later on somehow the silver protocol droid is given to the rebel alliance. many many years later we see Artoo, 3PO and the silver droid all together on the rebel blockade runner. that is how I think they got there."

(the death of the King or Queen of Naboo) And the Old Republic Senate debates over the possiablity of a war betwwen the assasains(Gungans) The Newer Generation seeks peace instead of violence but the older diplomats want to rekindle the the old days and want war.  The decision is made to place the topic in the Jedi Council hands.  The Jedi Council calls for Qui Gonn to attend.  But Palpatine who seeks war knows Qui-Gonn would perfer peace instead of war so he sends Darth Maul (weak Dark lord) To dispose of him.  Qui-Gonn who thinks it would be a great idea for Kenobi and newly apprenticed Anakin (after the pod race) to head to Coruscant to attend the meeting.  Kenobi heads out alone and Qui Gonn takes Anakin.  Before they can leave they run into Darth Maul.  Qui-Gonn wins easily and Anakin and Qui-Gonn leave for Coruscant."

- one in the pic of Anakin and his mom at the table there are three cups.
- two why would Anakin be with Qui-Gon jinn when he fights darth maul if he was not his son??? don't you think Qui-Gon and anakin have a vast age differece to just be friends walking around in the dune sea???
- and 3 why would they be together just before Qui-gon confronts darth maul??

So if Lucas uses this basic plotline in the prequel: there will be a rescue, the good guys will be trying to keep the bad guys from getting their hands on something extremely important (i.e., possibly the blue prints on how to clone sentient life forms, the blue prints to a cloning base, a Jedi holocron, a powerful Force orb or whatever else Lucas dreamed up over the past 20 years) and there will be a duel between Qui Gon (the most experienced member of the good guys) and the Darth "leader."  And as a finale, Lucas may have the good guys destroy the bad guys headquarters/base of operations/fleet, etc.

As Lucas himself acknowledges, there are a limited number of good plot devices that are available to a story teller.  If you carefully analyze the plot structure, of the three Indiana Jones films, you will notice that they all have basically the same plot "blue print." Lucas was brilliant at taking the same plot points in Raiders and then putting a new spin on them in Temple of Doom and the Last Crusade. However, even after knowing the basic structure that Lucas is going to use for the prequel, it is still going to be very difficult to predict the new twists and turns he will put on the plot devices mentioned earlier. Who has to be rescued and why? What do the good guys have that the bad guys want (Lucas could possibly reverse this plot point)?, When and where does the duel take place (during/after the rescue presumably) and who wins (again Lucas could choose to let Qui Gon win, while Kenobi lost in ANH) and, finally, what do the good guys get to blow up?  Lucas' philosophy appears to be "if it ain't broke don't fix it."

First of all, I don't really believe all this talk that Liam Neeson's character is going to die in the first movie.  It would be very similar to Obi-wan's death and also, as I understand it, Neeson is going to be in all three movies.  Although I do think he'll die I think it will probably be closer to the end of the second movie or beginning of the third.  Possibly the first Jedi to be killed in the purge.  If he is Annikin's father, Palpatine may use his death to turn Annikin to the dark side by twisting the facts.  The audience would know what happened and would know that Palpatine was lying and misleading Annikin.  That way it doesn't look like Annikin just decided to become evil.

Secondly, remember that Ewan McGregor did not seem to be present in the Tunisia shoot.  It's possible that he's not there at all.  Perhaps he is already in Coruscant with Yoda serving as his apprentice and doesn't meet up with the others until the battle begins.  This would be similar to Leia in ANH.  Lucas has always cut back and forht between the different locations of the characters.  If everyone's in the same place he can't do that.

In the Annotated Screenplays, Lucas talks about the line from the droids to Luke to Ben to Han to Leia.  He may do something similar here starting with the droids, or droid, and proceding from one character to the next.  He has said that the movies are from the perspective of the droids.

I do not think that Yoda is head of the Jedi council.  If he were, don't you think that Vader and Palpatine would have made sure to kill him.  In one of the novels after ROTJ, there is something about how the cave in ESB that is strong in the dark side hid Yoda for all these years.  This suggests that the assassins were searching for Yoda but never found him.  Perhaps everyone just assumed that he was dead or something lead them to believe that he was."

Apocalypse wrote: "Re: Reaction #4... first of all, I don't think Neeson has been asked to do all three prequels.  All I've heard is that Ben, Anakin, and Padme (?) (and probably Jar-Jar) will go through all three in some shape or form in a way reminiscient of the first trilogy.  But, that doesn't mean that Neeson won't appear in any of the other three. :)  Just wanted to add my info. to yours.

Secondly, I have a bit of conjecture about the idea of Palpatine using Ben to turn Anakin.  What if Ben Kenobi has allowed himself to be cloned at some point in the early experiments pre-Clone War.  Yeah, so what you say, but here's the scenario: Ben's clone is used to kill Jinn/Neeson/Daddy in front of Anakin sending him down the road to ruin due to the apparent betrayal."

HL wrote: "Surely Qui-Gon won't survive past the first movie.  The character has to die anyway (because of the Jedi purge), and the fact that he is old and wise, and also the fact that there is a ten year gap between first and second film, lead me to believe that he dies.  Because episode 1 is a story in its own right, Qui-Gon will probably have nothing to do with Episode 2 or 3. He is young Obi-Wans mentor.........yet Obi-Wan will be mature by episode 2.  There is also no evidence or rumours to suggest he is in episode 2 or 3.  The fact that all the characters will be older for the second movie, will limit the need for a character like Qui-Gon.  He is an important character, obviously........but an important character in the first movie only.  Darth Maul will probably kill him."

1.) What causes the Dual between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul?  What if one of these unknown actors that no one knows who they are playing, or one that has been picked but could be under a different name is infact Deak Skywalker?????  Maybe he will be in Episode 1 and does get killed by Darth Maul and Qui-Gon does come to the rescue only to find one of his sons (assuming he is Anakin's Father) dead.

2.) I don't think the role of Ellie is a replacement of Deak, but of Padme's younger sister since i remember seeing that she is supposedly "Princess Ellie".  The reason she is on Tatooine is because she fled Naboo w/ Padme for what ever reason (Darth Maul wanting/trying to kill her ect.)."
