"Remember when George Lucas said we will find out the significance of the emperor's royal guards red robes after seeing the prequel trilogy. This made me wonder when I saw the pictures of the Naboo palace guards wearing blue robes. Could the color red or orange be a symbol of the dark side or the Sith ,maybe? With this the color blue would represent the jedi or the light side. Notice that Vader carries a red lightsaber while Luke and Ben each had a blue one ,Luke's being made by Anakin before his fall to the darkside. Most fan art of Darth Maul has depicted him with a lightstaff with red beams. More importantly a fan in europe went to Tunisia and snuck onto the set and saw Liam Neeson fighting a dark jedi. He said that the dark jedi's lightsaber was painted orange and that Neeson's saber was painted green. My view on the color green is that it could be a symbol of the grey side of the force. Neeson's jedi supposedly has a grey view on the force. This would support Luke temporarily becoming dark in his fight with Vader." Any other thoughts about colors and their meaning in the prequels? |
