Rumor Alert! The Old Republic Release Date?

Has the release date for the highly anticipated MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic been announced? Not exactly, but our friends at French fan site Starwars-Universe.com say that they have a:

"very reliable source that the game is currently set for October 2010. But keep in mind that we're talking about a videogame, and delays are more than usual especially with MMOs."

Rumor until an official announcement is made, and of course we'll be sure to keep you posted. In the meantime, check out the source article here in French and EUC points us to the English translation.
