You heard the rumors about the guys from Ash rocking out in Episode III, right? The story broke this morning and no one was more shocked to see it than the band themselves!

They stopped by TFN for their daily dose and wrote us a note to let everyone know they're heading to LucasArts for something, not Lucasfilm for Episode III as the report indicated. Very cool guys, and very big Star Wars fans.

Mark Hamilton hooked us up with the scoop today to set the record straight and also sent us an MP3 of them playing the Cantina Band song:

Here's an mp3 of us playing 'Cantina band' at the wrap party of The Phantom Menace. Ewan got us to perform at it. It's a straight audio mix from the sound-desk so it's not ideal quality but you get the idea. It was indeed quite a moment watching from the stage and seeing all the cast and crew staring back. Especially Baker side by side with P. Mayhew... feel free to host the mp3 if you wish.
