Battlefield: Galactic Conquest is a Star Wars themed team play mod for the popular multiplayer game Battlefield 1942. It will put you in the role of an every day soldier in the Star Wars universe. You will be able to choose between the Galactic Civil war and The Clone Wars and fight by either means of Land or Air in many of the Vehicles you can see throughout the Star Wars universe.

With the alphas having a combined download of over 10,000 this mod is going to be big. You'll be able to duke it out in heaps of your favoite locales and even pilot your favorite starfights and assault vehicles into battle with your friends and mortal enemies.

Galactic Conquest has a very active IRC channel #gcmod.jolt on the the Quakenet IRC server (irc.quakenet.org)
