Carrie Fisher Appearance On Conan O'Brien

Posted By Mike on February 19, 2009

Well now, how to put this in family friendly terms. So on Late Night with Conan O'Brien there is this bear. This bear likes to participate in rather adult actions and thus will not be making the move with Conan to The Tonight Show when he takes over for Jay Leno. If you're a fan of Late Night with Conan O'Brien then you should hopefully be able to deduce who I'm talking about.

So last night was this particular bear's last appearance on the show. What follows is Jimmy Mac's description of what transpired:

"Conan said (something to the effect of), "As Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back, (the Bear) will be frozen in Carbonite!" He hit a button on his desk and the bear was frozen in a slab much like Solo was on Cloud City. Then Carrie Fisher came onstage, said she couldn't let it happen, and she hit the button unfreezing the bear. The bear made a run for it, being pursued by goons from Conan's security staff. The bear was last seen, escaping on a boat and sharing adult beverages with Carrie Fisher."

Thanks to Jimmy for the report! Check out the segment right here at NBC.com. (MOST LIKELY BEST FOR ADULT AUDIENCES)

UPDATE: More Star Wars on Late Night fun as reported by Jimmy Mac:

'As Conan O'Brien works his way thru his final week as host of NBC's Late Night, the Star Wars references are flyin' fast and furious. Last night, we saw a certain Late Night bear being frozen in carbonite along with a Carrie Fisher cameo. Tonight (Wed) featured a flashback of Triumph the Insult Dog doin' his thing at a New York Star Wars prequel lineup, and guest Nathan Lane mentioned Yoda in his tribute song to Conan - a parody of Sinatra's "My Way". I guess he couldn't think of anything else that rhymed with "Abe Vigoda"!"

Thanks Jimmy!
