Introduction

The various STAR WARS novels, comics and games describe hundreds or perhaps thousands of non-intelligent organisms. In the films themselves and the STAR WARS Holiday Special at least thirty-three different animals are either seen or heard. This web page is dedicated to them. This page will be restricted to the creatures from the canon and the audio-visual media such as the Holiday Special and spin-off cartoons. The creatures of the novels, comics and other unfilmed literature are too numerous to document here.
